What is the T\u2011Rex in Grow a Garden?<\/h2>\n

The T\u2011Rex is a pet that hatches exclusively from the Dinosaur Egg<\/a><\/strong> during the Prehistoric Event. With a low hatch chance of 0.5%, the T\u2011Rex is extremely rare and you will need multiple eggs to finally get it for your garden.<\/p>\n

The best part is its power. It boasts a powerful passive ability called Apex Predator: every ~20 minutes, it ‘eats’ a mutation from a random fruit and copies it onto 3 to 4 other fruits, effectively amplifying valuable mutations across your garden.<\/p>\n

How to Hatch the T\u2011Rex Pet<\/h3>\n

If you’re new to the game, here are the steps to follow to hatch this dinosaur pet:<\/p>\n

1. Get Dinosaur Eggs<\/h3>\n

These are available during the Prehistoric Update event\u2014obtainable via completing Dino Track quests, exchanging a pet for a Dinosaur egg from Graham, or trading with other players.<\/p>\n

Place the egg in your garden; the location doesn’t matter because it becomes empty once the egg has hatched. Each hatch gives you a 0.5% chance (1 in 200) to obtain a T\u2011Rex.<\/p>\n

With such a slim chance, persistence is key. Hatch multiple eggs, or trade duplicates with friends or trading channels to increase your odds.<\/p>\n
