This is primarily used in PC systems.<\/p>\n<p>A few days ago it was rumored that the PS5 will offer native support for 1440p resolution. The monitor manufacturer BenQ referred to the compatibility on its own pages and later withdrew the note.<\/p>\n<p>There is now an official statement on this subject. Sony told <a href=\"https:\/\/it.ign.com\/ps5\/175513\/news\/ps5-brutte-notizie-per-i-pc-gamer-la-nuova-console-non-supportera-la-risoluzione-a-1440p\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IGN Italy<\/a> that buyers of the PS5 would have to forego native support for the 1440p resolution.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, this does not mean that players who have a corresponding monitor inevitably have to buy another device.
